| The entrepreneurship education reflects the trends of development of higher education, because not only the inevitable requirement of development of higher education on era of knowledge economy, which promotes the reform of higher education, but also entrepreneurship education meets the needs of diverse talents. The students create more jobs and make a significant contribution to accelerate the social and economic development, because of the implement of entrepreneurship education. Entrepreneurship education in American university accumulates the rich experience and some progress has been made in the specific implement process. Entrepreneurship education that has been concerned in recent years has some shortcomings in the implement process in china's higher education, so that study of entrepreneurship education is of great significance.The main body of this thesis can be divided into four parts:Chapter one introduced background and developing process of entrepreneurship education in American university from budding, starting to development. The entrepreneurship education in American university was in its budding stage from late 1940s to 1970s. The entrepreneurship education in American university was gradually paid attention to from 1970s to 1990s. Since from 1990s, the entrepreneurship education in American university was to a certain development.Chapter two discussed the overall situation of entrepreneurship education in American university, including objective and content, curriculum, ways and means, teacher training, so as to provide a general awareness to entrepreneurship education.Chapter three the author chose cases from business school and non-business school dimensions and deeply analyzed the entrepreneurship education in American university in four aspects, including objective and content, curriculum, ways and means, teacher training. Entrepreneurship education in business school took the Babson College and business school of Stanford University for example and Entrepreneurship education in non-business school based on cases——all the other schools except business school of Stanford University.Chapter four presented the experiences of entrepreneurship education in American university, including feature and function, so as to further improve the entrepreneurship education in China's higher education. |
