Research On Effective Strategy Of Chemistry Experiment Teaching In Senior Middle School

The curriculum education reform is vigorously forging ahead. Pursuing teaching effectiveness has become a hot topic in the teaching field. Many experts think promoting classroom teaching effectiveness is both a critical part and a fundamental requirement of the reform. It is required that teachers should establish new teaching values and goals. That is, it is not how much students grasp but how well students perform and develop that matters.Chemistry, a natural subject, is based on experiment which is the most basic characteristic of chemistry teaching. Chemistry experiment is not only an important part of the teaching content but also an essential teaching method and a common studying approach. Chemistry teaching quality, to a large extent, depends on whether full advantage is taken of experiment teaching. Thus, the research on effectiveness takes on an unprecedented meaning.The thesis has been written under the guidance of the Effective Teaching Theory. ON the basis of general analysis of the current experiment teaching condition, the author has set a goal for chemistry experiment teaching and put forward some teaching strategies such as experiment teaching modes, management, assessment, teaching resource-exploiting and employing, etc.The thesis is composed of four parts. Part I is about the importance of chemistry experiment teaching and the analysis of its current condition and the significance of the research. Part II gives a general idea of the Effective Teaching Theory. Part III expounds the effective experiment teaching strategies. Part IV presents one of the author's teaching practices, which can reflect the basic idea of the thesis at a certain angle. The last part summarizes the whole passage.Carrying out effective teaching strategies corresponds with the spirit of the new curriculum standards. It advocates varied teaching modes, values the students' personal experiences and stresses the importance of creating lively situations. In a word, the pursuit of effectiveness and the application of effective teaching strategies are to change the teachers' teaching beliefs and the students' studying approaches. A great many effective classes full of wisdom and passion will be born in this experimental garden.
