The Laws And Principles Of Management By Objectives In Institution Of Higher Education

With the coming of mass education, the scaling and interior organization forms of higher education institution have been experiencing great changes, which thus require the adaptation of means in institution of higher education. Under this trend, many higher education institutions choose the means of management by objectives to guide their management. Management by objectives is a comprehensive means focusing on work and human, and the usage of it can mostly improve the efficiency of management in higher education institution. But the lack of knowledge to the laws and principles of it may lead some problems to the management in higher education institution. Therefore, to deeply research the laws and principles of management by objectives in institution of higher education has become an emergent project to both the leaders and faculty of higher education institution.This thesis consists of six parts. In the first part, the author tells the reasons and significance of this research. In the second part, this thesis shows the basic theory of management by objectives in higher education institution, and deeply analyzes some relevant definitions and relationship of them. Then in the third part, the thesis discusses the exterior-adapting laws of management by objectives in institution of higher education based on the accommodation of management by objectives in institution of higher education to social development, and higher education reforms and development. In the forth part, it analyzes the interior-adapting laws from the accommodation of management by objectives in institution of higher education to conditions of institution in higher education. In the fifth part it analyses the individual-adapting laws. At last it illustrates five principles of management by objectives of higher education institution according to its laws.There are some features of this thesis. It takes advantage of research means in the point of both survey and thought, so it has certain credibility. Besides, it carries out a tentative research in a creative way in the field of the management by objectives in institution in higher education, thus it has certain novelty and creativity.
