The Study Of Objectives Management Of Ideologic And Politic Education In Universities

In the late1980s, there is a rise in studying the theory of objectives managementin China. Many experts and scholars try to apply it to the management of universities,but with the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities, there are manyproblems demanding prompt solution.The study starts from the concepts characteristics, values, principles andtheoretical fundamentals of the ideological and political education in colleges anduniversities, by analyzing the current situation and causes of the objectivemanagement of ideological and political education in universities, to achieveeducational objective management of ideology and politics in a scientific andhumanistic way in universities.There are3meanings of the study: the objective management of ideological andpolitical education first is to improve the basic theory and system of ideological andpolitical education and improve the scientific process of the ideological and politicaleducation. Secondly, it has broadened the scope of application of the theory ofobjectives management and enhanced the vitality of the theory. Finally, it not onlyhelp to improve the status and role of ideological and political education management,and provide a valuable reference for university to make decisions and build teachersteam, but also help complete the management of the ideological and politicaleducation in university successfully and efficiently.The study applies literature analysis and theory analysis methods. It consists ofthe following parts:Firstly, Introduction, including the background of choosing topic, significanceand status of this study. Previous researches have provided a very valuable reference.Secondly, The concepts and theory basis of ideological and political education isthe basis of this study. It mainly defined the related concepts and described thetheoretical basis of the study, that is the management by objectives theory.And it alsoprimarily analyzed the influences of these three theories on objectives management ofideological and political education in universities.Thirdly, The analysis of the current situation and causes of the implementation of the objectives management of ideological and political education is thefocus of the article. There exist many problems such as the over-generalizedcontents, goals-planning in chaos, formalized goal-setting, over-stabilized targets implementation, the missing main body,which have affected the scientific im-plementation of the objectives management for ideology and politic education.These problems are mainly caused by the society, the university management s-ystem and the students themselves.The last part is The aim of the paper is to spread the objectives management, toachieve ideology and politic education scientifically, which is also the key anddifficulty of the paper. To solve the problems in Chapter three, the universities shoulduse scientific guidelines and management theory to develop a scientific objectivesmanagement system and establish a sound working mechanism. Students should playthe main role, and develop their self-management ability to advance the managementof the ideology and politic education in university successfully and efficiently.
