A Research On School-Based In-service High School Teacher Training Based On Teacher Competency

The new curriculum of basic education requires the teachers to change themselves in their teaching thoughts, actions and methods, but many of them can't prove equal to the reform task..Soit is very necessary to train teachers in order to change the present situation.The school-based training of teachers, which orgins in the 1990s,has become a very important way of teachers' professional development for its particular advantages. However, accompanied by the training.some problems come out, such as less motive power of study, less obvious effect and so on.So after using the method of analysising literatures,the writer studies a kind of pattern about school-based training based on the teacher competency.This essay is divided into five parts:Chapter I The cause and the meaning are introduced in general.Chapter II Competency,Competecy Model,Teacher Competency and Teacher Competency Model are given the definition and stated the general study of them.Chapter III First, the concept of school-based training is pointed out,then we are told about its present researching situation.Chapter IV It elaborates absolutedly the meanings,advantages,characteristics, theory basis and operation steps about the training.Concluding Remarks It puts forward some questions and attentions that cannot be solved now.
