The purpose of this dissertation is to explore the competency model of teachers in university of Beijing , to construct the teacher competency questionnaire and assess the level of the teacher competency .Some methods ,such as behavior event interview ,thematic analysis, test are used in this study. The following conclusions are induced:The constructed competency model include specific trait, responsibility, concern student, information gathering, urging oneself, respecting others, business support, job accomplishment, leading and managing. Attempted to explore a economic management teacher is competent at the strength model in the university of Beijing, including outstanding teacher and common competent at strength characteristic. Outstanding teacher competency include: enterprising spirit, leading ability, ability of reviewing, understanding ability, self-perfection, rises to the challenge, scientific research ability, prospective and training students, influence, influence, achievement consciousness. The common competency include: Sense of responsibility, innovation ability, honest and honest, organize and coordinate ability, learning ability, professional dedication, helping students, linking up ability, respecting others, team unity, having sturdy professional foundation, combination of theory and practice, initiative.The conclusion of this research employs the teacher selectively and performance is assessed, the teacher is competent at the strength standard and qualification standard formulation, education of teacher that and relevant, teacher's specialized development, have offered the basis of the positive research.
