From the training of students' knowledge and skills, the exploratory teaching emphasizes the process and methods of learning and the training of students' affective factors, attitudes and values in learning. Having experimented it in the teaching of physics in the junior high school for a period of time, the exploratory teaching has provided the experience in the reform of physics teaching, has opened up the vision of the students and junior high school teachers have had a better understanding of the current reform and development of physics teaching. This paper scrutinizes the development, basic implication and features of the theory of the exploratory teaching on the basis of the studies at home and abroad. Furthermore, the paper explores Five- E Circular Teaching Model, puts it into practice in the light of the difficulties of the students in their study of physics in the village junior high school, the contents and the characteristics of physics teaching in village the junior high school and the cognitive structures and thought features of the junior high students and expands the Five-E Circular Teaching Model into Five-E Developing Teaching Model. From the experiment, an effective approach to the teaching objectives of physics in the village junior high school has been obtained to arouse the interests of the students in the study of physics, to train the students' ability of problem-solving and to change the way of passive teaching.
