It can be said that the "Cultural Revolution" of modern China is the most peculiar, the most puzzling and most in need of in-depth study of all the events. In the process of the "Cultural Revolution", education is a special, sensitive, full of contradictions areas. Regardless of its stated goal, the process and the consequences, is the most striking theme in the "Cultural Revolution". Because of its unique position in the field of education, higher education is in particular through the disaster-ridden. Study this "revolution" process and the events during the course historically and objectively, no doubt, we will communite many Enlightenment in the future development.This paper mainly used historical documents research methods and comparative research methods, through recalling the revolution of higher education in the "Cultural Revolution", highlighted the politicization was the main reason for the revolution of the higher education. Descript the changes in teachers and students, teaching methods and curriculum and other aspects of higer education, statements after the education revolution the higher education administrative system of " Kuaikuai oriented "and" three-pronged ", the system generally reduced , non-standardized school system, political curriculum and teaching methods. Critical reflect from the reality destruction and deep impact to China's higher education of the education revolution. .Then from the view of education, through think "education revolution" in contradiction, "the relative independence of education", "education and fair 'culture of egalitarianism,' " and "people's education" and other issues, the author draw some conclusions: firstly, we should recognize the relative independence of education, it is not, and can not be social or political client, the University need to reflect on what should be adhere to in the process of communication with society. Secondly, the fair is relative, not a simple egalitarianism. Thirdly, education is targeted at people, and we can not simply say that the target is the cultivate the "proletarian workers" or "ordinary workers" on the political significance of, the mission of education is to make the human being has the knowledge, become a better person. To the development of education, we must respect to knowledge and talent. Only a "people-oriented" education concept, the current education can be developed by leaps and bounds.
