A Study Of Motivation Mechanism For College Students

Motivation is the one of the key issues in contemporary economic and administrative studies. In recent years, the theories and methods of motivation have been widely used in all areas of society. Practice has proved that the application of motivation theory and methodology in college student education plays a great role in strengthening and improving student management and education. This paper attempts to explore this topic from the following aspects.First, this paper analyzes the background and significance of the study on college student's motivation, as well as the recent development of this study home and abroad. Secondly, it makes a detailed exposition of the basic theory of motivation, including the concept of motivation and the psychological process of motivation realization. The third part of this paper analyzes the contents of college student motivation which involve ideological and political motivation, ethical motivation and learning motivation. In the fourth part, it expounds in detail a few basic principles of college student motivation. In the last chapter, it focuses on the specific incentive method, and the motivation model is substantiated and suggestions on how to apply these methods are proposed.
