Homework has close relationship with all aspects of educational activities. It is an important part of teaching activity. Teachers receive feedback of homework and adjust teaching. As a daily teaching behavior, designing and evaluating homework reflects teachers'teaching idea. Meanwhile, homework is one of main learning styles to students, which plays a significant role in students'mental and healthy development.In current teaching condition, the purpose of designing homework is mainly to make students master knowledge and skills, but ignore strategies and attitude. Homework becomes a repetitive task. The style of homework is also single, which is limited to written forms. There are only a few other types. The main way of evaluating homework is grade and score, which is hard to represent individual differences. Under the background of ability-oriented education, curriculum reform,which emphasizes to cultivate students the spirit of innovation and practice and the ability of solving problems in reality,proposes that we should make education and course suit development of each student. In accordance with the present condition of homework, designing and evaluating homework in elementary and secondary school is a problem that needs discussing. In terms of problems that exist in homework, the writer tries to carry out multiple homework activities combined with Chinese subject, the aim is to change the single style of traditional homework design and evaluation, it highlights the promotion of students'ability and develops student's interest and make students enjoy doing homework. In the paper the writer does research in the following aspects:Firstly, the writer reviews relative articles to find out the present condition about homework reform, and makes survey in elementary and secondary school to know about attitude of teachers and students toward homework, the present condition and existing problems of homework.Secondly, the wirter defines the conception of multiple homework, generalizes various types of homework, designs relative types of homework combined with Chinese subject, explains characteristics about multiple homework, and analizes cases about each kind of homework.Thirdly, based on previous research, the writer outlines the procedure of designing multiple homework, and creates a learning environment for practicing multiple homework in Moodle which is one of famous course management systems. Combined with Chinese subject, the writer designs homework, implements it, and makes reflection on practice.Fourthly, the writer evaluates the effect and meaning of the experimental research in qualitative and quantitative aspects, the experiment proves the hypothesis that multiple homework is good to improve students'interest, arouse their participation in activities, and promote their comprehensive ability to a certain extent. In the end, the writer concludes the achievements, existing problems and development direction about this research to provide some suggestions to the curriculum reform.
