A Research On Quality And Its Countermeasures Of Postgraduates In Guangxi

In recent years, under the background of National Higher Education Expansion, Guangxi has got great development in postgraduate education. But compared with the whole country, it still has a certain gap in scale and quality. Therefore, Guangxi must develop the postgraduate education to adapt the need of economic and social development. The scale and speed must take the quality as premises. Since colleges and universities are basic units in teaching, research and social service, they play a key role in the development of education quality. Therefore, carries out demonstration investigation on postgraduates to know Problems on educational quality and submit the suggestion to improve the quality of postgraduate education. This has important theoretical and practical importance to postgraduate education in Guangxi. It can enrich and develop post-graduate education theory from theatrical perspective, and ensure the scale and quality of post-graduate education in Guangxi from practical point of view. In addition, it has important practical significance in cultivating high-level talents who are able to adapt the need of regional economic development in Guangxi with the high sprite of innovation and strong capability in innovation.Literature analysis, empirical research and comparison methods are adopted in this study. This thesis is designed as follows: first, it analyzed the background and significance of present research and summarized present research status of postgraduate education; secondly, through the literature analysis, it finds problems existing in Guangxi postgraduate education development; after that, it investigates administrative personnel and postgraduate students by means of questionnaire in five universities and interviews partial supervisors in Guangxi, Finally, with the successful experience of postgraduate education in Britain and American, it pints out to improve postgraduate education quality in Guangxi from the quality monitoring system ,the quality of cultural, organizational system, operational mechanisms, self-evaluation, etc. which grantee the healthy and last development for postgraduate education quality in Guangxi.
