Graduate education is at the top of the higher education,which plays an important role in high-level personnel training and technological innovation in a country or a region.Therefore,the quality of graduate education relates to the innovation ability and level of competition of a country.After 30 years of development,China's graduate education is in a period of strategic transition,mainly from the expansion of the scale to improve quality,from the extension to the connotation-oriented development,knowledge-based shift to capacity-based.Connotation development will become the core task of the future development of graduate education in our county.The preparation and publication of the quality report of graduate education as an important measure to improve the quality of graduate education,at this stage has not fully reflected the degree of graduate units and the quality of graduate education in response to public expectations of the quality of graduate education.In view of the fact that every year after the degree-granting unit publishes the graduate education quality report publicly,the paper first explains the theoretical basis of the quality report and the function of the graduate quality education report;Secondly,this paper summarizes the problems and causes of the postgraduate education quality reports in China,America,Shanghai,Shandong,Jilin and Anhui provinces;Thirdly,through the analysis of the problem,the paper reconstructs the indicator system of the graduate education quality report,puts forward the writing principle of the quality report,and from the government,degree-granting units and the public's point of view to improve the quality of graduate education report recommendations.So that the quality of graduate education report truly become the degree granting unit of graduate education quality information disclosure and response to social accountability of the effective carrier,and the public understanding of degree conferment unit graduate education quality status of the important bridge,plays graduate education quality report to promote the quality of graduate education.
