Postgraduate education is the highest level of higher education in our c ountry, to lead the progress of science and technology, is of great practical significance to promote the development of the society. The full implementa tion of the research needs of students quality educations not only the develo pment of the times, and is a graduate student groups called for more, also is the inevitable requirement to improve the cultivation quality of Postgraduat es in china. Local colleges and universities in China are huge in quantity, th e large number of graduate students,is an important part of higher educatio n in an important position, but also the implementation of the quality educa tion of graduate student. The quality of training the comprehensive quality of the implementation of quality education is not only related to our graduat e students research of local college students,development is more related to l ocal universities and regional economic and social development, plays a very important role. However, local colleges and universities compared with colleg es and universities and colleges,there is a certain gap in educational resourc es, training mode, faculty and student quality,how to promote the quality of postgraduate education in local colleges and universities, the cultivation of c omprehensive quality of graduate school,comprehensively enhance the researc h of local college students culture quality has become urgent to solve the pr oblem.This paper is divided into six parts, the first part is the introductio n, mainly discusses the purpose and significance of the topic, the topic basi s and research methods etc.. The Marx doctrine on the all-round developmen t of people theory and Deng Xiaoping "three oriented" thought as the basis f or discussions, the significance of the topic is to promote the study of unive rsity where student straining quality, improve the competitiveness of local uni versities and promote regional economic and social development.The second part is a summary about the quality of graduate educatio n, mainly discusses the connotation of quality education of postgraduates, th e content,characteristics and significance. This part describes the quality of gr aduate education is based on the "three hit" quality education quality as the core; its main contents include basic education, professional education and i nnovative education; compared with other education stage, special study, stu dents’ quality education has its own distinct features such as group and the p articularity of the mentoring relationship.The third part is about the discussion of the local colleges, respectivel y launched from local colleges and universities the meaning, characteristics a nd the implementation of the quality education of graduate student necessit y, that local colleges and universities because the amount is huge, competitiv eness is relatively weak, is the study of the important position of students qu ality education.The fourth part discusses the restricting factors in the implementation of the quality of postgraduate education in local universities, mainly includin g the lack of funds, teachers are difficult to meet the requirement of postgra duate training,scientific education and humanistic education imbalance, lack o f subject characteristics, local colleges and universities graduate research and innovation ability is insufficient and the graduate’s own insufficient attentio n on quality education.The fifth part is some suggestions to promote the implementation of qua lity education of graduate student of local colleges and universities, mainly including the play to the functions of the government, strengthen the manag ement;combined with regional characteristics, create advantage discipline; o ptimize the curriculum, the cultivation of comprehensive ability; to realize the scientific quality and the Humanities quality fusion; strict entrance exam ination, improve the quality of students a rich campus activities; the cultivat ion of their own quality, enhance teachers;develop the teacher efficacy. The sixth part is a conclusion part.
