Research On The University Students' Quality Expansion Program And University Students' All-Round Development

In March 2002, the university students' quality expansion program, which can promote university students' all-round development, was put forward by the committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education and the Student Union. The program takes raising university students' mental and political quality as the core, raising innovation ability and practice ability as the key point, and generally promoting university students' all-round development as the purpose. Presently, the program lacks systematic Marxism theory basis. The author proposes that Marxism theory on human's all-round development is the theoretical basis of university students' all-round development. Furthermore, implementing the program can promote university students' all-round development in ability, social relationship and personality. The author finds some problems in the course of implementation, by combination of investigation and statistics in our country and case study, and proposes coping strategies.The article includes three parts: part one, theoretical basis of university students' all-round development, is the theory contents; part two, basic condition of the university students' quality expansion program, is the practice contents; part three, implementing the university students' quality expansion program and promoting university students' all-round development, is the combination of practice and theory.
