Analysis Of The Students' Quality Expansion Program In Southwest Jiao Tong University

Personnel education has always been the crucial work of universities.For a long time,the First Class was the core in personnel education,the importance of the Second Class,however,have not being fully paid attention.As a result,the Undergraduates' Quality Expansion Program is a systematic project,based on the cooperation of central committee of the Communist Youth League,the Ministry of Education and the National Student Union,for an in-depth advance in college quality-oriented education.It takes the education of college students' ideological and political qualities as the core,the cultivation of creativity and practice ability as the key point,and the general improvement of scientific and humane qualities as the purpose.In accordance with philosophies of modern human resources development,it is scientifically planned and individually considered.As the leading project of the college Communist Youth League,this project is actively implemented in pilot colleges nationwide,where certain successes were made with many difficulties emerging.Generally speaking,this project is still a filed exploration,of which further summery of experience and shortcomings are demanded.The author investigated the implemental effects of the Undergraduates Quality Expansion Program in Southwest Jiaotong University by questionnaire and interview.According to the research and analysis,the author puts forward an experiencing method with popularizing value and introduces an improved approach to the existing problems.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction analyzing the study background,introducing this study's purpose,contents,methods and significance,and comprehensively summarizing the study status quo of the Undergraduates' Quality Expansion Program.The second part is the theory study which comprises the Chinese and western scientific meanings of the undergraduates' quality expansion program.The third part mainly introduces the mechanism of Southwest Jiaotong University's undergraduates' quality expansion program and analyzes from three parts—basic platform,supporting platform and main body platform.The fourth part is about the investigation in the outcome of the Undergraduates' Quality Expansion Program in Southwest Jiaotong University.From the revelatory view of the implement of the University Students' Quality Expansion Program in Southwest Jiaotong University,the fifth part puts forward the analysis of prospect and the policy advice which can perfect the education system of undergraduates' quality expansion program.
