Chinese teaching is firstly to teach students Chinese characters and meanwhile influence them with national culture and humanistic spirit. There is no doubt that language learning comes from life and goes back to life. So Chinese learning happens anywhere and anytime. In other words, Chinese comes from practice and develops with the society's development. Chinese teaching in senior middle schools is to be given to teenagers, who are in the improvement of body , language and thought. For them, Chinese is the most extensively-used subject of all, which is necessary to express themselves and communicate with others. However, Chinese teaching in class can not meet their demand, which requires our teachers seek for some other resource after class and teach them Chinese in lives. The standard of Chinese teaching in senior high school demands Chinese teaching should be interfielded, enlarged and improve the students' integrating skills.Listening.speaking,reading and writing are the basic skills which need to be developed in the Chinese teaching. At any moment in our daily social life, we are listening and talking,and we are receiving the information from the society. In this process,we show our talent and embody our value. Society is a great class providing us with measureless information. While handling the information, we learn to distinguish between right or wrong and discriminate between beauty and ugliness. Without the restriction of time and space, we can wander in the world of the Chinese and foreign masterpieces. Due to reading, the extracurricular life will be even more wonderful. And the extracurricular writing makes our life richer and more substantial. Extracurricular writing is different from the writing class with a certain task. It has rich content and flexible style, combining the sense and awareness in the way of narration or comment. By this,you can express whatever you are thinking about.Students combine the knowing in class and doing after school. In this practice they get a harmonious environment of listening,speaking,reading and writing. Those effective Chinese practices after class are good not only for students' ideological education and intellectual development also for creativity and aesthetic capacity. In this case, students' quality is improved, and their learning ability, even the longlife learning ability, is increasing; their judgement and confidence in society come along. Their ability of intergrating and participating in the socitey will be eventually developed.
