With the rapid development of science and technology, the integration between disciplines is becoming more and more obvious, and the society has more and more demand for compound talents.Cultivating complex new talents with comprehensive capabilities is becoming the primary task of education.Conduct systematic literature surveys on the current status of chemical extracurricular activities at home and abroad,The general chemical extracurricular activities, such as chemical exploratory experiments, chemical lectures, chemical competitions, chemistry papers,mini-inventions,and small-scale production, were summarized.A questionnaire survey of students and teachers was conducted on the status of secondary school chemistry extracurricular scientific and technological activities, and questionnaires were analyzed. The survey showed that the number of out-of-school science and technology activities in rural middle schools was the lowest.Main reasons:the lack of experimental facilities, insufficient support from schools and parents, and the results of science and technology activities have not been included in the final grades, and they cannot fully apply science and technology activities to cultivate students' comprehensive ability.According to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability,it is step-by-step from basic to high level.Three extra-curricular science and technology activities were designed from data research, experimental improvement and scientific exploration experiments. The project "Data Research Learns the Principle of Coloring Chemicals in Middle Schools".It is divided into two parts: " Questioning topics" and " Extension topics for activities" according to the level of difficulty, ask students to collect relevant information according to the requirements of each topic.Learning "atomic structure and properties","molecular properties" and "complex theory" and other knowledge,at the same time,it can develop students' information research ability, information processing ability and writing ability. The "Innovation and Improvement of Aluminum Thermal Reaction Experiments" project is to innovate and improve the textbookexperiment so that students can learn to question, cultivate creative thinking ability, establish the concept of green chemistry, and form the values of dialectical materialism. The project "Exploration of Carbon Dioxide Preparation Experiments and Discussion of Related Theoretical Issues" links chemical knowledge with life, bringing complexity to simplicity, exercising students' logical reasoning skills, and fostering their rigorous and realistic scientific attitude. The three activity projects designed combine the knowledge in the classroom with extracurricular knowledge and integrate knowledge acquisition with comprehensive ability development. This not only stimulates students' interest in learning but also fosters a rigorous spirit of scientific inquiry.Systematic acquisition of knowledge and the development of practical applications of knowledge can enable most students to consolidate their acquired basic knowledge and provide potential students with the opportunity to conduct in-depth exploration.Papers can provide valuable reference materials for the development of extracurricular science and technology activities in junior high school and middle school.
