Inquiry teaching is a type of teaching advocated by the new curriculum in our country. To carry out physics inquiry teaching in senior high school classroom effectively, it is necessary for us to construct an effective evaluation index of the inquiry learning which could enhance students' ability to do inquiry learning. However, researches are extremely rare about evaluation index of the physics inquiry learning in senior high school classroom. Moreover, nobody has explored the method of application and the effect of the index used in physics inquiry teaching in senior high school.Given the insufficiency of the researches currently available, the author plans to construct an evaluation index of physics inquiry learning in senior high school classroom, which could be used to evaluate the performances of the students' inquiry learning in real-time, on the basis of the researches already existing. By the use of our index in physics inquiry teaching in senior high school, the author intends to find the reasonable using method and the effect of the index. So, this paper includes 3 researches:In the first research, the evaluation index (the teachers' edition) of the physics inquiry learning in senior high school classroom was put forward preliminarily, which could be used by teachers to evaluate their students. The author went into senior high schools and held seminars with some physics teachers and an expert in physics-teaching. According to their suggestions, the author revised the index. And, on the basis of the index revised, the author constructed the evaluation index (the students' edition) and some relevant evaluation forms of the physics inquiry learning in senior high school classroom, which could be used by students to assess their performances in inquiry learning.In the second research, the author applied the evaluation index (the students' edition and the teachers' edition) constructed in the first research to physics inquiry teaching in a senior high school. According to the feedback of the students and the original teacher, the author found the deficiency in the using method of the index. After reflecting on the problems in using index in earnest, the writer obtained the detailed method of using the index in inquiry teaching.In the third research, to examine the effect of applying the index (the students' edition and the teachers' edition) to physics inquiry teaching in senior high school, a preliminary experimental study has been conducted, with the research results in the first and the second research being used. Due to the limitation of research conditions, the writer only discussed whether the inquiry teaching with the use of index would be better than the inquiry teaching without the use of index in promoting students reflection ability. Research indicates that, in comparison with the inquiry teaching without the use of index:(1) the use of index in inquiry teaching can't promote students' ability obviously to reflect on the difference between experimental results and results expected;(2) the use of index in inquiry teaching can help obviously to promote students' ability to reflect on their experimental practices ;(3) the use of index in inquiry teaching can help obviously to promote students' ability to reflect on experimental plans;(4) the use of index in inquiry teaching can help obviously to promote students' ability to reflect on inquiry conclusions.So, the use of index in physics inquiry learning in senior high school classroom can help teachers to guide students' inquiry learning more effectively, and help students to enhance their ability to reflect and regulate the process of their inquiry learning much better.
