Functional Research And Management On The Construction Of Gymnasium And Palaestra On New Campus Of SUT

Ever since the initial stage of the construction of new campus of SUT,the newly-built gymnasium and palaestra have been taken as the symbolic buildings. This shows that gymnasium and palaestra are not only the basic qualification of schooling, but also the focal part of the campus.Therefore,such questions as how to avoid going astray and how to enhance the efficiency during the construction, and how to manage after the construction are worth pondering.The thesis paper, based on the related literature and on-the-spot investigation, has done a systematic study on the design features and its utilization with reference to other gymnasium and palaestra of similar status home and abroad. The paper points out the strong points and the weak points of the buildings and put forward some worthwhile suggestions for the construction and further utilization of the buildings.This paper consists of three sections. In the first section,the writer points out,though comparing with other gymnasium and palaestra construction home and abroad and the functional distribution,the principle of new campus construction as well as the relationship among new gymnasium,palaestra, school districts,living sections.The paper insists that gymnasium and palaestra not only is the ground where is used to teacthing,but also the important place for communication.In the second section,focusing on the features and tendency of the construction of modern gymnasium and palaestra,the writer defines the difference between college and commonality gymnasium and palaestra.The paper emphases the functional distribution of college gymnasium and palaestra in SUT. Besides,it analyzes the functional design and gives suggestions.In the third section,it sets forth the management and administration of gymnasium and palaestra which is able to be accornplished.Furthermore,taking the actuality of the management of gymnasium and palaestra into consideration,the writher advances its principle,manner and countermeasure,and probes furhter into management pattern. In conclusion, the writer concludes the study and then make some suggestions for a rational use of gymnasium and palaestra on new campus of SUT in order to enhance the utilizing efficiency and fits the actual status of SUT.
