Different people hold different opinions to computer game. On one hand, teenagers love it. On the other hand, parents and some teachers oppose it. Having little computer and net knowledge, they consider computer game as floodwater or beast. The computer games bring some negative influences, but we can' t deny that it has educational value. Finding computer game' s educational potential and developing teaching with computer game, making the learner receive the education in amusement and increasing their knowledge is our goal. Mathematics education in new era needs to use computer game to raise and stimulate students' mathematics interest. The students like mathematics no longer because of taking exam, but really interested in it. We must reconsider the computer games and explore it, takes it as one kind of effective teaching resources and teaching aid. We must take the computer games as a powerful tool which can help student to solve the problem and quest for mathematics.This thesis firstly comments the educational game' s present situation, and figure out that mathematics educational game not only inherits the characteristics of traditional game, but the more important thing is that it has educational functions. Therefore, introducing the mathematics education game software into middle school mathematics teaching not only characterizes the teaching process, but also develops the learners' full potential, improves the learners initiative in studying mathematics, advance their cognitive ability and media literacy. The educational value of doing so is very significant.Based on the teaching theory, the thesis established two types of application models of educational game on mathematics teaching: question-inquiry model and virtual-cooperation model. After analyzing these models learning mechanism, the corresponding application frame are constructed. Finally an education case analysis is given.This article' s research goal is to explore the educational value of the mathematics educational game, establish two modes in mathematics teaching, and give the worker some references. We should look on the mathematics education game rationally, explore its teaching rule.The innovation of this thesis is that analyzing the characteristic, mathematics educational function and learning mechanism of mathematics educational game.Being aimed at course teaching and incorporated with middle school mathematics demand, the author introduce the mathematics education game into the teaching process and create two kind of models based on teaching practice. The models are intended to provide some references for how to use mathematics educational game. Base on the questionnaire, the author analyzed factors which affected the student in choosing mathematics educational game, and gave some advice for using mathematics educational game.
