Analysis Of Cultivating Correct Sex Concept Among Contemporary College Students

This article makes an initial discussion of cultivating correct sex concept among contemporary college students from four aspects.Part One: General introduction of sex concept. According to different anticipations towards sex roles and sex relationship in different societies, this article divides sex concept into the traditional one and the modern one. In the process of analyzing the content and nucleus of the two, this author finds that although traditional sex concept admits the physical differences of the two sexes, it mainly advocates prejudice and discrimination in sex. Meanwhile, modern sex concept has not got rid of the impact of the traditional one, though it places emphasis on the equality of man and woman. On the basis of the two concepts, this author describes the problem of sound sex concept.Part Two: Analysis of the present situation and reasons of contemporary college students' sex concept. Through the fact that contemporary college students are still influenced by traditional sex concept, that college students are willing to accept modern sex concept, and that traditional sex concept gains the upper hand among college students at present, this article reveals the present situation of contemporary college students' sex concept. And it analyzes four reasons of the present situation: collectively unconscious inheritance and social inheritance of traditional sex concept; insufficiency of college education in cultivating sound sex concept among college students; the positive impact of Marxist theories on women; and the positive influence of modern feminism theories and movement in western world.Part Three: Inquiring into cultivating sound sex concept among college students with the help of developing dominant and recessive moral education. The development of resources in dominant moral education mainly includes cultivating sound sex concept among college students on the basis of acquaintance moral education courses, activity ones and the ones in subject teaching. The development of resources in recessive moral education mainly includes cultivating sound sex concept among college students in the construction of campus material and spiritual cultures.Part Four: Discussion of three meanings of cultivating sound sex concept among college students: beneficial to their healthy growth, beneficial to their future lives, study and work, and beneficial to the concord of society and vigorous development of our nation.
