As the developing environment of the world information technology education is changing rapidly, we must popularize the information technology education and strive to make the education information come true so as to take the initiative position in the increasingly fierce international competition in the new century. As can be seen now, all the concepts, models and approaches in our Chinese education sharply need to be changed to comprehensively meet the need of the development in the society. As to the subject of Chinese teaching, we should create a specific path of information technology which will be full of subject characteristics, arouse students' learning enthusiasm to the utmost extent to construct the Language teaching model with the aims of letting students play the main role and bringing up the spirit of students' ability in innovation and practice. At the same time, the new curriculum standards Puts forward a clear requirement that the curriculum resource utilization should attached more importance. Therefore, in the Language teaching process in secondary schools, the utilization of Film and Video resources will surely provide the reform process with the truest and most effective practice basis. The focus of education reform in carrying out Language information technology is to construct a new teaching model in the exploration of integration between information technology education and the teaching of Language subject. Just for this reason, this becomes the research direction of this thesis.This thesis will be discoursed in three parts. The first part will explain the connotation of Film and Video education resource to make it clear what is the Film and Video education resource and its practical value. Then, the characteristic of Film and Video education resource will be revealed from the features of Film and Video Arts and Film and Video teaching methodology. The Significance of integration between the Film and Video resource and Language teaching will be discussed from their association at last. The second part will mainly discuss the effective measures to utilize the integration between Film and Video resource and Language teaching. How to select proper Film and Video materials and build up teaching video library will first be discussed. Then, some examples will be showed to introduce several models of integration between Film and Video resource and Language teaching. How to introduce some Film and Video resource to create the Classroom situation with the teaching practice will be discussed at last. This part mainly concerns to three aspects: first, to solve the relationship among teacher, student, teaching material and Film and Video resource; second, to prepare lessons and design class carefully; third, to utilize the Film and Video resource to explain the concept of Language. The third part will discourse the specific practices to utilize the integration between Film and Video resource and Language activity in the following aspects concerning to reading, writing and oral speaking. For instance, Film and Video resource and out-class reading can be integrated through reading famous works and seeing famous movies; through learning technology information; through organized discussion to clear up doubts; through writing practice and so on. The Film and Video resource and writing practice can also be integrated through mining writing topics from Film and Video materials, trying to adapt text to screenplay for the film with the imitation of Film and Video skills and so on. The Film and Video resource and oral speaking can be integrated through learning news broadcast, imitating Film and Video dubbing and training oral presentation skills. All in all, the main aims of this thesis are to explore the construction of a new teaching model from the integration between information technology education and Language teaching, and to find out the strategies and methods to achieve the new teaching model.
