| In modern times, people are more and more hooked on the film and televisionmedia,"Visual culture first" and "Age of picture-reading" have become the trendof the times. The TV programs and films have become one vital part in our lifeand work, and also the important learning resources from which students from juniorhigh schools learn in their spare time. Chapter3of The Syllabus for Chinese Lessonin Full-time Compulsory Education, namely The Implementation Suggestion,explicitly points out that," Language teachers should pay great attention to thecurriculum resources development and utilization, creatively carry out all kindsof activities to enhance the students’ awareness of learning and using Chineselanguage in different circumstances, and to fully improve the students’ Chineselanguage competence. Therefore, making full use of video resources in Chineselanguage teaching is of profound significance to promote Chinese language teachingquality and to raise the students’ good and healthy personality.On basis of the thougts and expreience conclusion of Chinese language teaching,adopting such research approaches as literature review, questionnaire survey,interview, and case study, this article titled “A Comprehensive Study ofApplication and Effect of Video Resources in Chinese Language Teaching of JuniorHigh Schoolsâ€, includes the following three chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the feasibility and necessity ofapplication of movies and televison resources in Chinese language teaching in thebackground of current reading situation of Junior high schoold students. it alsoputs forward the research methods and theoretical basis of introducing videoresources into Chinese language teaching.The second chapter mainly illustrates the application and effectiveness ofvideo resources in Chinese language teaching. Firstly, it introduces the textfeatures of Chinese language and movies and televison programs, and analyses howthese resources innovate traditional Chinese teaching approaches from threeaspects, and furthermore, it introduces the application of them.In the third chapter, some notable problems during the process of applicationof movies and televison resources in Chinese language teaching have been presentedfrom two aspects, namely, limitations and notable problems. |
