With the progress of the modern educational techniques, MCAI(Multimedia Computer-Assisted Instruction) is being paid more and more wide-spread attention to. Many countries and regions all over the world have been developing the teaching proactive of MCAI. There are lots of educationalists in our country who are actively launching the practice of MCAI and have made considerably great progress so far.As a historic revolutionary area and the source of Huang-Ma uprising, Macheng, Hubei province, is comparatively backward in economic development. Because of restriction of various reasons, most biology teachers in rural areas have quite outdated and simplistic teaching concepts, teaching methods, and teaching techniques, which make it extremely difficult for students to study biology for high schools.This paper, which starts from something mentioned above and aims at improving biology of the rural high school students of Macheng, is based on the teaching thoughts of constructivism, the theories of discovery-learning and education technology to try to inquire into the theory of applying it. The paper inquired result produced through survey research with visit and talk with and put it into practice through Quasi-experimental research, and researched into both quality and quantity of it, has some certain good effects. The research, which puts forward this plan based on the present condition in rural high schools of Macheng, aims at offering a few ordinary introductory remarks so that others may offer their valuable ideas.
