With the high school curriculum carrying out the experimental work in 2003 and gradually implementing the new curriculum reform in our country.Development and use of curriculum resources become a very important part of curriculum reform. It is an important topic which is proposed by the new round of basic education curriculum reform, and it is also the source of school-based curriculum to be undertaken and a powerful bridge between teacher professional developments. For the relatively backward rural areas of education, curriculum resource development and utilization of biological research is imminent. Most of the current study is on the high school biology curriculum resource development and utilization of the status of Investigation and research, or from the macro aspects analysising high school biology curriculum resource development and utilization. These studies are mainly theoretical guidance from classroom teachers for curriculum resource development and utilization. Some front-line teachers in high school biology curriculum resource development and utilization of knowledge and understanding are too spots, not so systems. The paper firstly describes the necessity of high school biology curriculum resource developing and utilizing the rural this topic, according to searching course resource development related theories, such as the constructivist learning theory, Dole’s postmodern curriculum, Schwab practical curriculum development theory, then use literature method, case analysis, practice explore method and so on, deeply understand the status of high school teacher development and utilization of biological resources from the following four aspects:biological resources from the school curriculum, school biology curriculum resources, media resources and information technology resources and conditions of the biology curriculum resources. Analysis the main problems of the current development and utilization of biological resources in rural areas:the development of teaching resources and the excessive use of attention and simplification; rural school biology experiment equipment configuration was low; laboratory assistant is also less than the quota; biology teachers on curriculum resources Weak sense and so on.On this basis, the paper developed for the high status of biological resources described in the following aspects:introducing some instruments on the development of a universal curriculum resources, such as the use of media software, video information collected; use of new resources developed by case studies, and rural high school biology curriculum resource development and utilization strategy.
