In the modern teaching, the multimedia teaching can improve students'study environment, which has been widely accepted. The marrow of the class teaching is the communication and influence between the teacher and students. However, the teaching content has been composed in reply tactics, the knowledge having been solidified even since the expressing way and order appearing has been solidified. The multimedia teaching has replaced the teacher on the content. The multimedia also restricts the students to learning enriched and vivid the content. The multimedia teaching is against the promoter action between the teacher and students, and the activity of teaching. The misuse of many mediums is also able to bring negative effect to students.The research first outlines the characteristics of multimedia to introduce the multimedia teaching system, and then studies multimedia experimental teaching comparing with the differences between the traditional teaching. According to the experimental results with my multimedia production and teaching experience of multimedia of junior school students, it analyses, inquires into and summarizes how the multimedia teaching influences students'Chemical interests, academic results, and psychological changes, in order to explore and to achieve efficiency and effectiveness of multimedia teaching methods and improve the common strategy.This object of study is the ninth grade students, who are compared with the other one. Understanding the influences of the multi-media on chemistry teaching and chemistry interests, it studies the influences on the students who have personal computers. Experimental study shows that the use of multimedia courseware for teaching process has the following effects:(1)The micro-particle and particle motion model provided by multimedia courseware is in keeping with needs of the specific concepts of the learning, for students can find their specific characteristics by visual observation of the micro-world. Multimedia courseware also helps students form of selective perception in the basic concepts of chemistry and chemical study of the theory basis.(2) Multimedia courseware only simulates the experiments so simply or do it instead of students themselves that it has solidified the process. Students cannot completely perceive the phenomenon, and there is no actually operating experience, affecting learners master the whole chemistry experiment completely. Because there is no specific operation, it affects learners'feeling and pleasure of success, further negatively affects Chemistry Experiment interests. Therefore it can not cultivate the habit of co-operation and team spirit , based on the complex experiments.(3) Multimedia courseware influences the process structure of acquiring chemical knowledge, however, it hardly can affect the using and migrations of knowledge after the students have mastered it.In all, though the multimedia is a advanced and effective teaching method, it cannot completely replace the traditional teaching. Nothing can take the place of the wonderful language, the attractive thinking and unique teaching method. Therefore, the multimedia and traditional teaching should be reasonably connected together to foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses , to effectively promote study and improve teaching quality.
