The problem concerning the education of the migrant children is the target of the thesis. Based on the theories on migrant children and "cooperative learning", this thesis, by employing the "heterogeneous cooperative learning" teaching methodology and through a questionnaire survey on the migrant children in Grade Six of Wujiang Shengze Experimental Primary School, attempts to analyze the cause of the migrant children's English learning situation. Through the experiment of two parallel classes in Grade Six, this thesis concludes that "heterogeneous cooperative learning" can improve the migrant children's English learning situation.
