This dissertation takes the new curriculum reform practice as a background, takes the new curriculum idea as the instruction and relates to the present mathematics teaching situation. During the research, a lot of questionnaires, symposiums and classroom investigations and studies have been done. Also through the literary review and our own experience, we have proposed four characteristics of the mathematics classroom ecology: dynamic, production, authenticity and expansibility. Revolving with these four characteristics, we have been carrying on the following teaching experiments: the strategy experiments in constructing mathematics classroom ecology, the classroom model experiments in constructing mathematics ecology, and the appraisal mechanism experiments in constructing mathematics classroom ecology. According to these experiments we have summarized the problems presently existing in mathematics classroom ecology and we have proposed the ways to solve problems. There's much we can make use of in the future of mathematics teaching.
