Learning Disabilities (LD) problem is always interfered in the educational bounds, especially in middle and primary schools. People begin to pay more attention on it. It's the significant part of averting examination-oriented education to quality- oriented education for studying and solving the LD problem. Because the object of quality-oriented education is all the students, the students with LD are the special group of them. On the other hand, because of the universalizing of compulsory education, the LD problem influences the quality of compulsory education. The paper studies the LD problem in middle schools for all the above.The questionnaire of middle school student's self-control ability and AAT was adopted to investigate 1523 middle school students, among this 1523 students, there are 152 students with LD. This research aims to find out the characteristics of self-control ability and learning adaptability of students with LD and the relationship between self-control ability and learning adaptability of the students with LD, and to investigate the differences of the self-control ability and learning adaptability between students with LD and normal students as well. The results showed:1. The self-control ability and learning adaptability of students with LD is significantly lower than normal middle school students;2. The differences of self-control ability of students with LD were not significant in sex and grade;3. The learning adaptability of students with LD has significant difference in sex, the girls' learning adaptability are better than the boys;4. The learning adaptability of students with LD has significant difference in grades, and the differences are just between junior grade one and junior grade three, senior grade one and senior grade three, and the learning adaptability of junior grade one is the best iof all;5. There is a significant correlation between the self-control ability and learning adaptability of students with LD.According to the conclusion above, this paper gives some educational suggestions in order to improve the self-control ability and learning adaptability of students with LD, and to promote the learning effect, then they can make a success in learning.
