A Tentative Exploration Of Humanities Education In Higher Vocational College

This thesis analyzed current situation of humanities education in higher vocational colleges in China at the present stage. Starting from the essence of education, the necessary of all-round development of students and actual need of social development and construction, discussed the function,the content,the principle and approach of humanities education through expounding the negative influence of the absence of humanities education. It also gave some suggestion on how to enhance humanities education in these colleges so as to get mutual promotion between students'development and social development, to improve the quality of students'career life and ability of sustainable development, hence they can adapt to the change in the age of knowledge economy and realize their own value of life.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is introduction, introduced the cause of subject selection, previous related research results, the meaning,the thoughts,the paradigms and selection method of this research. The second part is an outline, mainly discriminated the conception of humanism,humanistic spirit,humanistic quality and stated the importance of humanities education and humanistic quality in students'study and life. The third part is the analysis on situation and reason of humanities education in higher vocational colleges on the basis of questionnaire and cases. The forth part is the significance of enhancing students'humanistic quality. The fifth part is the countermeasures of improvement, such as curriculum design reformation, specialty permeation, campus construction and educational evaluation mechanism maybe effective. The sixth part is conclusion.
