With the rapid development of higher education in China, the enrollment of universities was expanded significantly and the educational reform such as the implementation of the credit system and the emergence of independent institutions was carried out continuously. In addition, the modes of studying and living for students have been changed greatly. Therefore, the traditional management ideas, methods and systems could not match the requirements of current higher education. It is a major task for universities to change their management strategies in order to culture qualified undergraduates.In this essay, the questionnaire method is used to investigate the management of student affairs and the theoretical analysis is applied to draw some conclusions. Moreover, this essay has explained the theory and analysis of the current situations of college students'management, and has discussed the importance of the management innovation in this field. In the research of innovation study of college students'management, this essay has made a clear idea of democracy, legality, service and creativity. Through the research of the current college students'management, it has defined the way to achieve the innovation concepts for college students'management and emphasizes problems which will challenge managers'attention. During the basic analysis of current regulations, it has defined a basic principle and brought forward the tentative innovation ideas. A new management strategy of student affairs has been proposed: self-management, matey management and encouraging management.The management of college students is a systemic project and should be considered comprehensively in the entire process of college education. It should also be kept in step with the development of the harmonious society.
