Since the higher education of our China stepped into the popular stage, the employment situation of the graduates has changed a lot, with many new features coming out. The employment situation is receiving increasing attention, and therefore the importance of the career guidance underlines the growing. The development and demand of college students becomes the fundamental starting point of College job, according to the student's own characteristics, through a variety of ways and means, providing employment guidance and services to help students choose from a professional career orientation to achieve the goal of the transition. The employment guidance for university students is of great importance for the students employment and development, the continuous development of higher education as well as the social stability and Progress, thus it's currently claimed to be the high-profile agenda in higher learning institutions.This paper intends to start with the present situation of Ningbo university's employment guidance and problems facing it, and then offer proper measures, the purpose of which is to try to set up a complete employment guidance service system of the Ningbo University and strengthen the tangible effect of employment guidance service, and better to help the students and promote employment. This paper consists of four chapters.The first chapter, Introduction mainly introduced the background, purpose, and the design of this research.The second chapter, Concept Define and Literature Review, the concepts of career guidance for college students and the university's employment guidance service system were defined. And the associate theories, research literature and practice, both at home and abroad, were also sorted out and summed up.The third chapter, Investigation and Analysis on the status quo and problems of career guidance services in Ningbo University. By using large sample of questionnaire on students and interviews with students, administrators, the existing state of employment guidance of the University of Ningbo was investigated; the strong points and the weakness were also described. The causes of problems were briefly analyzed.The fourth chapter, The Improving Strategies of Guidance to College Students' Employment Service System, put forward some improving suggestions to enhance the University of Ningbo's employment system, such as the establishment of the guiding ideology and working principle, the improvement of service system and reasonable function assignment, enrichment of staffing and defined responsibilities, unified planning and enrichment for the guidance content, and the improvement of support system (regulations, funds, and facilities etc).
