The counsellor system is one of main characteristics of the university in our socialistic society. From beginning of 1950's, the counsellor system was founded in the university. After 50 year's exploratory development, it was proved by many facts that counsellor work plays important role in the education of the college students. At the same time, the building of the counsellor team acts as important organizational guarantee and long-term mechanism for strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of the college students; for practice of moral education of the college students; also for maintaining the stabilization of the campus.The counsellor of Independent Institute undertakes the work that closely related with the students ,such as ideological and political educating. psychological servicing. day-to-day management.employment guidance, etc. The counsellor of Independent Institute is the guide for growth of the students and is the leading for the psychological problems. It is the backbone force of the ideological and political work ,and is the tutor to guide the students. Therefore, in the face of the new situation and circumstance, it has been pressing task during the Independent Institute progress, that conscientiously implementing Idea of further strengthening and improving college student's ideological and political education from the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and the State Council , and strengthening the Independent Institute counsellor team specialization building.The article analyzes and summarizes the existing problem and reason of Independent Institute counsellor team, and searches the effective ways to resolve the problem, by referring documents and research of the counsellor team. The article is totally divided into five parts.The first part, author briefly analyzes the background of specialization building of Independent Institute counsellor team,expatiates the research status of specialization building of Independent Institute counsellor team, also summarizes the significance of the research.The second part , author analyzes the actuality of our education system, introduces the appearance of the Independent Institute in recent years , and the three characteristics"Excellent, Independent, Privately-Run"of Independent Institute. Briefly expatiates the whole peculiarity of the students needed by Independent Institute, and the distinctness point with public university students in aspect of thinking mode, learning attitude, collectivity concept. The distinctness was due to the society circumstance, the family background, the campus culture.The third part, according to the status and reason of the counsellor team, author analyzes the problem of counsellor team , such as ambiquity of duty, illogicality of team structure, instability of team. Further definites the working responsibility of Independent Institute counsellor and the instability of team.The work of Independent Institute counsellor is not only resolving the ideological and political problem , but also any department has the right to control the counsellor. It acts as office boy at one time, and acts as bedchamber administrator even fireman at another time. At the same time Independent Institute counsellor has many problem to resolve, such as age structure, academic qualification structure, science structure, and structure of title of technical post. The team is also instable, inadequate training cause the personnel fluidity, the person who acquaint with the work leaves the occupation ,and person who takes the occupation is not familiar with the work at all, which makes the capability of counsellor not improved and affects the student's growth at the same time.The fourth part , from three aspects, enhancement of counsellor diathesis, stabilization of counsellor team, healthy growth of students. The article deeply analyzes the necessity of strengthening specialization team building of counsellor. Specialization team building of counsellor can improve the diathesis. The team is a integer part. Only by the way of improving the individual diathesis can we improve the whole level of counsellor, add energy to the team,enhance the work rate . Specialization team building provides the basic condition for stabilization of counsellor. Specialization team brings the counsellor with steady feeling to face their work. Take the counsellor work as a management work, that make every counsellor pay out their passion and enthusiasm to their work. At the same time, ideological and political education relates with the college stabilization and development. Specialization counsellor team is the key measure to improve the ideological and political level, and also provide effective guarantee for healthy growth of college students.The fifth part mainly focuses on the countermeasure of the college counsellor specialization team building. It is also the emphases and core of the article. Firstly, expliciting the requirement for Independent Institute counsellor. The key point is not make the counsellor as office boy in the college teacher team. We should explicitly point out the responsibility of counsellor. Improve the ideological and political level; psychologically health education ; guide the correct employment idea; become the good teacher and helpful friend with the college students. Secondly, Establishing effective Independent Institute counsellor enrollment system and employment system. Enhance the level of enrollment, based on excellent public university undergraduate, properly adopt master and doctor graduate, alter the age structure, adopt middle- aged experienced teacher as supplement power. Stick to the all-directional and Multi-Channel selected main-suit prosecutors through competition method in employment channel, attach importance to academic level and knowledge structure, ensure the whole counsellor diathesis. Thirdly, establishing counsellor prompting mechanism. Prompting mechanism is key measure for stabilizing the team. Independent Institute has it's own characteristic. It takes on the education mode of college, also gains the management system of enterprise. Fourthly, perfecting and improving the Independent Institute counsellor specialization attainment training system. Students of Independent Institute have large difference with public college students. Only the specialization team can accomplish the task of ideological and political education work. Therefore we should change the bad habit of'only use ,not training',provide opportunity for counsellor at regular intervals, invite excellent counsellor to hold reporting. Provide good intercommunication platform, improve counsellor psychological health education level and employment guide capability, take part in psychological consultation teacher training .occupational planning training. The self-contained prompting system is the guarantee for good work and stabilization. Fifthly, taking the counsellor specialization building theory research, organizing the counsellors take theory learning weekly. Discuss , communicate and form the theory material ,combing the problems that encounter in the work. Students work is also knowledge. The counsellor has predetermine practice condition.We should give them time to summarize the experience. Sixthly, enhance the management level of counsellor. Multifarious collectivity building requires counsellor for high management capability. With traditional experience is not enough, the new era ask for counsellor understanding and mastsering new management knowledge, improving theory level to make the target and the plan of class work with clearer direction.
