Poetry is a traditional Chinese literature style in the history, and the longest, the highest artistic achievements. "The Book of Songs," Songs of the South, Han, Tang, Song, Yuan and Chinese classical literature illuminate the milestone, and has set a benchmark of China's traditional culture. Senior High School existing common language textbooks and read poetry in relation to the length of more than 120 papers, of which about 100 Chinese poems. Poetry has always been a high school education an important part of language teaching, training high school students is also an important aesthetic ability to rely on the text. In common language high school curriculum standards(experimental) referred to the culture of poetry appreciation of great interest to enrich their own emotional world, reading all times and in all good poetry, works of understanding of the ideological content, the works explore the rich implication, understanding of the art works of charm, appreciation of poetry to learn the basic method, the initial master the art of poetry and foreign features, attention from different angles and dimensions found in works of implication, to gain new experience of reading.This article baseing on the poetry of teaching experience, taking into account the aesthetic ability to appreciate literature of this important issue, surveying high school students from the aesthetic ability of literacy poetry, by analysis of the situation on teaching high school poetry and how to train students aesthetic ability , explore Explore the links between poetry teaching high school students and the aesthetic ability. According to ordinary high school language curriculum standards in the the current, this article on the basis of excavation of the existing Senior High School ordinary language textbooks and Chinese cultural values in reading poetry, focus on the independence, integrity, personal, creativity into the capacity-building and development objectives, and explore thinking and method to arouse high school students' interest.
