On May 7,2019,Minister of education Chen Baosheng published an article on Guangming Daily about “Do a Good Job of School Aesthetic Education in the New Era”,which emphasises on the aesthetic education of school,deeply understands the educational value of aesthetic education in school and educates people with aesthetics and culture to improve students' aesthetic and humanistic accomplishment comprehensively.In addition,in the “Chinese curriculum standard of compulsory education(2011 Edition)”,it puts forward clear requirements to stress that we shall cultivate the good aesthetic taste of students and improve the literary accomplishment of students with the help of excellent traditional Chinese culture according to the characteristics of pupils' psychological development at different study stages for the pupils' learning and aesthetic accomplishment on ancient poetry.So it has significant meanings to cultivate the aesthetic ability of students and improve the aesthetic accomplishment of students in the ancient Chinese poetry teaching of primary school.The author has combed the related research on the cultivation of students' aesthetic ability in ancient poetry teaching,aesthetic teaching of ancient poetry and ancient poetry teaching at home and abroad,and determine the related core concepts of ancient poetry teaching,aesthetic ability and so on based on collecting and combing the existing relevant research data.Combining with the existing research on the cultivation of students' aesthetic ability in ancient poetry teaching of predecessors,this research mainly adopts the research methods such as questionnaire survey,interview method,case analysis and so on to investigate the current situation of aesthetic ability of current pupils and teachers' teaching of ancient poetry,and carry out the analysis of causes on current situation to propose corresponding feasibility suggestions.According to the investigation,it is found that the aesthetic feeling of current pupils is low and students' aesthetic appreciation lacks corresponding attention with the lack of individuation of students' aesthetic imagination,the weakness of aesthetic creativity and the weak creation.For the above problems,the main reasons that: Students have limited self-understanding with the weak interests on the study of ancient poetry;The aesthetic education consciousness of teachers is weak with literature and aesthetic accomplishment needed to be improved and the teaching methods adopted in teaching ancient poetry are simple;The evaluation methods are single and school lacks the attention on aesthetic education.For the existing problems and the analysis on causes,and then put forward corresponding suggestions: Firstly,improve the autonomous learning abilityof students and enhance the students' interest in learning ancient poetry;Secondly,teachers should upgrade the concept of education and teaching,improve the self aesthetic and literature accomplishment and adopt various teaching methods to create the aesthetic ancient poetry class;Finally,school shall have the attention to carry out extracurricular activities and build the stage of the development of aesthetic ability to gradually cultivate and improve the aesthetic ability of students.
