Based on the theory of psychology and education and closely linked to the present situations in physics teaching, this thesis probes into how to make full use of the characteristics of multimedia technology to improve the Physics teaching in high school. Meanwhile, it also puts forward certain suggestions on using multimedia technology in teaching physics properly.At theoretical level, firstly, this theis demonstrates that it is necessary to use multimedia technology in physics teaching from the point of view about psychology. Secondly, it discusses the function of multi-media technology in teaching from the teaching goals and how can they combine with each other together. Finally, it mentions some principles on how to use multi-media technology in physics teaching.At Practical level, aimed at different types of classroom teaching mode such as the concept of physical education, the law of physics teaching, teaching physics experiments, physical exercises, etc, this theis introduces the detailed program after analyzing the characteristics of various types in the current situation. What's more, by giving some examples of difficult points, it explores the effective teaching mode by the practice of teaching.In short, this theis is aimed at making effective efforts to combine multi-media technology with physics teaching and try to make contributions to the reform of physics teaching.
