It is much important for the development of quality of the whole nation to realize the goal of high school quality education. And high school geography teaching plays an important part in the goal realization. The application of multi-media teaching is pushing high school geography education from tradition to modernization. However, in the practice of high school geography teaching, although a great of high schools have had very term of high multi-media technique and geography teachers had the ability to operate multi-media technique, the teaching methods are still traditional. It is useless for multi-media technique to push traditional education to quality education. The author aims at this problem to launch the research to study how to integrate "typical" methods of quality education teaching and multi-media technique in high school geography teaching, at the same time, to form and develop "High School Geography Multi-media Teaching-Quality Education Teaching Model".The article is divided into the following parts:The first part is about the present condition of multi-media teaching of high school geography, which briefly introduces kinds of multi-media technique that can be used in high school geography teaching and the outstanding problems in high school geography multi-media teaching. The author also announces the reason why present multi-media geography teaching can't availably push forward quality education.The second part is about some "typical" teaching methods of quality education, which helps high school teachers apply these methods.The third part is about the integration trial of high school geographymulti-media teaching and "typical" teaching methods of quality education.
