Nowadays, Chinese economics has been getting into a new form, the production pattern has become more advanced and the division of labor are getting more complicated. However, there are some problems which are impeding the economics development, The structure of vocational education and the quality of occupational talents are mismatching the industrial structure which is facing his upgrade, what’s worse, there is a urgent demand for highly skilled talents. Thus right now the Chinese government are dealing with the task of training highly skilled talents seriously, by which the higher vocational schools are gaining the government’s unprecedented attention as the training of the highly skilled talents.The talents training mode as the core of vocational education determines the quality of highly skilled talents as well as reflecting the strength of a vocational school directly. There are several training modes in china, none of them is perfectly sadly, they all focus on whether the students can get a job or not, which cares more about the nurture of students’ “hard skill”, but ignore the “soft” one, of which the graduates cannot get a comprehensive employment abilities. In other words, taking employment as the orientation only can fix the problem that there is a large shortage of higher skilled talents, but it has a disadvantage for building a lifelong learning system. Therefore, the research about new training mode of Chinese vocational education under the orientation of employability has its significance on both theoretical part and practical part that it is good for the cultivation of Chinese higher skilled talents and the improvement of Chinese vocational school.This paper based on the the theory of training mode and employability, the development tendency of Chinese vocational education, and the integrated use of a variety of analysis methods, chose several representative training modes within and without china as its object, aim to find new training modes for chinese vocational education under the orientation of employability. Firstly, this paper introduced the research about talents training modes and employability by domestic and foreign scholars. Secondly, it discussed some typical talents training modes of different countries, distinguished their advantages and disadvantages as well. At last, it creates two new talents training modes by contrastive analysis, plus some policy suggestion about how to put them into effect.The conclusion of this paper is that the major training form of higher skilled talents in china is school-enterprise cooperation, but there are lots of weaknesses on it,such as the enterprise are unwilling to cooperation with schools, and the school’s orientation is unclear. In order to guarantee the quality of vocational talents or perfect the talents training mode, the strength of government’s lead should be enhanced, and the positivity of enterprise for participation needs reinforce, what’s more, vocational schools must make their development direction more specific.In this paper, research and innovation points are: added the analysis of talents training mode in developing country, and combined it with developed country’s excellent mode, by which this paper found new talents training modes under the orientation of employability, hoping they can produce some reference effect for the mode’s research of chinese higher vocational education, as well as improve the quality of chinese higher skilled talents.
