Many scholars think that"multimedia teaching caused education revolution". The special demand for sound, image by infant determines that the executing multimedia teaching in kindergartens has more active meaning. According to stipulations provided in Kindergarten Guideline, we should excavate potentials of infants in extreme extent, cultivate and develop their various kinds of capacities, actively guide interests to join in activities and make them the main body of activities .Teachers should be powerful copartners, supporters and guide of children. At the same time, according to multimedia in application in teaching, it can carry out interacting with the student, promoting exchange and cooperation between the students, helping them to probe and understand the world, actively thinking and developing their abilities. In the practice application's process, the multimedia teaching is the products which the shape, the sound, the color, the knowledge and the sentiment are combined. It applies many kinds of technological means, demonstrates vividly the cognition object under the reasonable teaching design instruction, stimulates learner's non-intelligence factor, conforms to learner's age feature and the cognition rule.The thought is the intelligence core. The infant stage is also a critical phase in personal power of thought development. Whether to obtain the more effective thought exercise in this stage, has the extremely vital significance regarding a person's intelligence growth and the full scale development. Pre-school children are young. Their thought is at the specifically visual thinking stage. It is very difficult to them to accept the abstract thing massively. Therefore, promoting visual thinking development is the efficient path to developing infants'early learning potential. It may meet infant's need exactly and adapt the infant thought development objective law that the multimedia technologies conform with the pre-school education.This thesis mainly discusses relevant problems of applying multimedia technology to promote the development of infants'visual thinking. From many points of views as pedagogy, psychology and thinking, it roundly be explained that physical base of generation of visual thinking, the learning producing process in learning theory and constructivism learning theory. In the third chapter, the author elaborates model of integration, and designs a teaching process's flow taking the concrete curriculum as the example, and has carried on the analysis to the concrete teaching process. In the fourth chapter, the author has drawn the corresponding conclusion through the concrete practice teaching process and contrasting the result. After expounding theory foundation, the design patterns and the concrete cases are presented. According to the educational technology research methods, the related experiments have been designed, which combine multimedia with pre-school education and infant visual thinking development. It has been discussed the multimedia technologies promote the infant visual thinking development from application aspect.
