Visual thinking is studied and clarified by the professor of Harvard and American Germany lineage art psychologist Rudolf Arnheim in the 20th century at the end of 60's.He believed that vision itself is the essential means to thinking, it has all abilities of thinking. The vision is not machinery and passive duplication but is to actively grasp the structure character. It is abstract and generalization. every kind of thinking, especially creative thinking is operated through images. The conception of"Visual Thinking"is contribute to the unification of consciousness and thinking.Based on the consideration above, I choose the title of"The inquisition of strengthening the students'visual thinking ability in physics teaching in senior middle school"to discuss how to enrich the visual image ,strengthen students'visual thinking ability and improve students'ability of analyzing and settling physical problems by providing the environment matching the students'vision level and training of visual thinking.The paper includes six parts.The first part: preface that elaborating the background and the value of the research.The second part: rationale. It is a summarize about the theories which needed in this research by literature means, in which including the visual thinking theory, the construction principle study theory and the brain science research results and so on.The third part: a test and analysis about the senior high school students'visual thinking ability by the questionnaire means. Its result indicated that the senior high school students'visual thinking ability is poor and influencing physics curriculum study directly.The forth part is the theory about the integration of the theories of visual thinking and physical teaching. In this part, I mainly analyzed the visual thinking process in physics studying and gave the definition to visual thinking in physics teaching, and classified the physical vision image with the characteristic of physical vision.The fifth part: some means about how to strength the senior high school students'visual thinking ability in physics teaching. I analyzed four kinds of physical vision images and proposed the corresponding strengthening strategies, giving some help to improve the students'visual thinking ability.The sixth part: Practice and forecast. This part mainly introduced the teaching practice of using the strategies to strengthen the students'visual thinking ability, and analyzed the insufficiency in the research and made forecast about the domain research.
