With the development of science technology and society economy, vocational higher-education has become an important mode to train talented, it has developed into the key content of higher education. The specialty of vocational higher-education, the job-oriented talented training mode, raise new task and challenge to the teachers of vocational colleges.This essay mainly analyze the existing problem of competency of vocational college's teachers. Through the analysis of competency of vocational college's teachers, to establish competency model, offer theoretical evidence and supportance in applying , training, testing and career planning, and offer reference for vocational college's teachers in evaluating their competence.This esassy mainly adopt behavioral event interview and questionnaire, through statistics and analysis of original figures, classify the core competency to the teachers of vocational colleges,and establish competency model.The conclusions are: competency model of vocational college's teachers including eight core competency. They are: good psychological personality, personal influence, professional knowledge and skill, teaching and expressing ability in class, social communication ability, career morality and communication, self development and creativity, ability of organize manage and coordinate.
