A Survey Of The Establishment And Application On The Competency Models Of Teachers In Primary Schools

This study with the primary school teachers for the subject,adopt some methods such as unstructured interview,behavior event interview,questionnaire and so on,set up the primary school teachers'competency model,work out the primary school teachers competency questionnaire,measure the current level and character of it. Then the research use the competency model of the primary school teachers to guide the content of career development,and then build the primary teachers'quality structure based on it.The research collects the characteristics of excellent primary school teachers through behavior event interview and focus group interview, and then according to these characteristics to draw up a questionnaire, and analyze it with explore factor method and setup the primary teachers competency model by study 395 primary teachers. Then, refer to the result of item analysis and explore factor analysis, through the strict procedures of items filtering, make up the primary school teachers competency test on this foundation. We use this test to survey 815 primary school teachers adopt the verification factor analysis to see the validity and rationality of the model, the result show that the model composes of six latitudes which are the responsibility,active,active learning,open communication,tolerant,organization and management of teaching. At the same time, the research analyzes the career management of primary teachers according to the primary school teachers competency model, and try to find the laws of primary teachers' career development and advance some suggestions to promote primary school teachers' career management and to offer some basis for the basic education and primary teachers' education. Then based on the result of the research on the establishment of the competency models of primary teachers, the research build the structure of primary teacher's quality such as the professionalism,the professional competence and the professional mentality.
