The PE curriculum in high school is the last stage and the highest level for students to accept the systematic PE, it is the important carrier for sport work in high school, there is a crucial function to connect the PE at school with lifelong PE. Orienteering acts as a new sport event, takes on the features which the route is flexible and full of natural breath, at the same time, cultivates students' imagination and creativity, and exerts yourself potential to exceed the high-point, helps to the dynamic integration between the physical education and intellectual education, orienteering is a trend for the PE development in high school and has a effective practical value.This paper is based on spirit about《Opinion on Education Department to reinforce talent training of the higher vocational colleges》, aims at characteristic of the higher vocational colleges, introduces some methods of reciting relevant documents,interviewing experts,mapping,experiment,statistic,analysis and induction, it is based on the integration between theoretic study and practical study to design on orienteering courses and study on teaching experiment in Huainan vocational and technical college. We research a 32 period orienteering curriculum system from several aspects of its value orientation,target,content choice and design. Through teaching experiment's research, this paper educes the following conclusion: (1) Orienteering curriculum which is designed in this research can utilize effectively inner-outside PE curriculum recourse of college, develop space and time of the PE curriculum, promotes the public PE curriculum innovation to the trend of developing diversity. (2)Orienteering curriculum teaching helps to mine students' PE potential, motivates students' interest. (3)Orienteering curriculum corresponds to the needs for physical and mental of students, and come the curriculum target true. (4)Through study on orienteering curriculum, it molds students' team spirit and cooperative consciousness, strengthens social adaptation of students. This paper provides a theoretic and practical support for orienteering curriculum's design in high school.
