The relative superiority or inferiority of the benefits of composition teaching is an important standard of the quality of Chinese teaching. But over a long period, Chinese teaching has got into a strange situation and difficult to get rid of.---teachers work strenuously while students get tired and the benefits are low, which is criticized and condemned by the public. The reason lies in many disadvantages of the teaching of the compositon mark. In order to improve the students' writing ability, we should change the traditional thought of the composition teaching, take all the available measures to optimize its teaching methods and let the students actively devote themselves to the activities of the composition teaching so that each of them can burst forth extraordinary splendour.The essay aims at proposing thoughts of the mark strategy of the senior compositions to make others have some reference by doing some research on the situation of the senior composition teaching and analysing, reorganizing the internal and external research achievements of the composition mark. It is based on the educational teaching theory and new course standard.It consists of six parts. The nucleus content lies in the following chapters. The first chapter is a recall of the academic research of the composition mark. It mainly introduces some extraordinary academic research achievements of the world and study the history and trend of the composition mark from the theory aspect. The second chapter includes the comments on the practice of the composition mark in the new century. It mainly introduces and analyses some special and representative composition mark in our country of these years. It also refers to the achievements and regrets of the composition mark from the practice aspect. The third chapter is the investigation of the situation of the senior composition mark. It mainly introduces the common disadvantages of the present teaching of the senior composition mark from the reality aspect by analysing the data acquired. The fourth chapter is the exploration of the optimization of the senior composition mark. It mainly probes into the optimization strategy of the senior composition mark by analysing the common disadvantages of the present teaching of the senior composition mark. Based on the above exploration, an ideal model of the senior composition mark is put forward----with the instruction of teachers, students mark their compositions by themselves. It well solve the optimization problem of the senior composition mark to some degree.The fourth chapter includes the creative achievements and views of the essay. The five kindes of optimization strategy referred to not only hit hard at the ills of the time, but also aim at illustrating the information scientificly, all-sidely and concretely.The strategy is strongly practical, which makes it have good actual effects. Besides, the model of students' marking their composition with the instruction of teachers is an ideal practice of optimization strategy. Therefore, the relation between theory and practice is another distinguish feature. Apart from it, the creation of the strategy also lies in the following points--- the optimization strategy of the mark, ideal model, the theory of the arranging the mark of compositions according to the term as a whole and the active cooperation between teachers and students.
