| According to the current condition that teachers are reluctant to work as class advisers in many schools and that the work of the class advisers is lack of power and effectiveness, this thesis combs the basic theories of class advisers' sense of self-efficacy in junior high schools by theoretical and practical study, based on the related research findings both at home and abroad. A questionnaire of the sense of class advisers' self-efficacy in junior high schools, designed by the researcher herself, was handed out to 224 class advisers from six junior high schools in Wuxi (2 private junior high schools, 2 key junior high schools, and 2 ordinary junior high schools) and 209 effective questionnaires were collected. Besides the questionnaire, we also interviewed 6 class advisers (4 females and 2 males) for further investigation of the relevant issues. The collected data shows that the sense of self-efficacy is high in the aspect of daily management and the humanistic care for the junior high school students, whereas it is not ideal enough on the aspect of involvement in decision-making, communication with leaders, coordination with communities, power of social education, role orientation, appraisal system and the training of class advisers. Apart from the collected data, the researcher also combines some specific cases, analyzes the reasons for these problems and puts forward relative strategies and suggestions to enhance sense of self-efficacy. The researcher also suggests that the school should actively create opportunities for class advisers to communicate and try its best to coordinate the power of social education in the community; meanwhile, the school should establish effective encouragement and evaluation system and explore a training mode of light burden but high efficiency. In addition, from the perspective of class advisers, the researcher puts forward four requirements in order to improve the teacher's level of self-efficacy sense, so as to manage more effectively the class. |
