Cooperative learning is a bright spot in the the new curriculum reform. With the new curriculum reform developing , cooperative learning has been increasingly recognized by the people. It was generally accepted by the teachers and applied in the classroom. Cooperative learning and Independent learning, Inquiry learning to be known as the "new learning methods" signs. Almost all the classrooms, we can see that the panel discussion of cooperative learning, but its essence is really effective. Cooperative learning is a simple combination of a few students and discuss together?The cooperative notion is the outcomes of social and technology development, of the reflection for education itself. It has the very strong contemporaneity. It has become one of the most important guiding thought in world education reform. How to put cooperative education theory into teaching practice, make theory guide practice. We carried on the practice exploration of cooperative learning in chemistry teaching in senior school under the background the reform of new curriculum.Based on the previous researches, this dissertation tries to probe into Cooperative learning both theoretically and practisely, by the use of literature, investigation, experiment group comparison method. Take Cooperate learning theories as the instruction, we tried to implement Cooperate learning in the classroom chemistry teaching and extra-curricular activities in the senior school,in order to make chemistry teaching practice and the cooperation theory of learning organic combination conformity and the full reality of the 3-D teaching aims of the senior high school chemistry curricular reform .The subjects of present study are senior grade one and senior grade six of one senior school of some provience from Semptember,2007 to January ,2008. After half year teaching practice ,we found there are some effects of Cooperative learning on students under the background of the New Curriculum Reform : Firstly, there are great improvement in cooperative cognition and ability. As well as interests of chemistry study . Secondly, there are a great improvement in communicative ability of students. Besides, they pay more attention to the combination the teaching and learning .At last, score of the subjects examination are improved by Cooperative learning. However, with the limitation of time, the creative ability didn't improve at large extent, not as the predsition effects present study.In the process of practice , I try to explored to creat the effective conditions of cooperative learing, hope be able to give some reference for teachers.
