Trust plays a great important role in human society's healthy operation and coordinated and balanced development. In the whole social trust system, the mutual-trust between teachers and students of universities is undoubtedly an important component, and is an important guarantee for the harmonious development of universities' organizations.At present, universities (University Town) are going through a process of rapid development and transition, which brings about a series of issues, including the lags of the management system, the changes of teachers' and students' concept and the diversification of values, the decline in the quality of teachers and students and the alienation of teacher-student relationship brought about by expansion, and so on. These directly or indirectly affect the mutual-trust and its level between teachers and students. In this study, I take the mutual-trust between teachers and students in the University Town of Xiasha, Hangzhou, as the research object. And I try to understand the mutual-trust and its level between teachers and students through research and interviews, and find out solutions to the problems on the basis of analysis. The purpose is to improve the level of trust between teachers and students, to improve the performance of universities' organization colleges, and to promote the harmonious development of the universities.In this paper, I analyze this issue through the following aspects. The first part is the introduction. I mainly state the purpose and significance of the study, as well as the research methods and the thesis framework, and the definitions of some related concepts. The second part, I review some domestic and abroad researches on the issue of trust, and analyze the research situation of the domestic. The third part, combined with the survey data, I analyze the status of mutual-trust between teachers and students in University Town. The forth part, I analyze all the factors which influence the mutual-trust from the subject, the object, the relationship between teachers and students, and the social environment. The fifth part, on the basis of the above analysis, I state out my own opinions and views on improving the level of mutual-trust. The sixth Part is the summary and the prospects of this study.
