With China's national economic development and the expansion of higher education, higher vocational education has obtained rapid development.However,vocational college students have the lowest employment rate and face a very grim employment situation because of the policy of enlarged enrollment since 1999.Due to historical and realistic subjective and objective reasons,the situation of girls' employment has been worse than that of boys.Based on the results from questionnaires,interviews of the graduates from higher vocational colleges of Mei Zhou Wan Vocational Technology college,Zhangzhou Institute of Technology and Fujian Polytechnic of Information Technology in 2008,the author focuses on the analysis of the causes of girls students employment problem from three factors:society,college and students themselves and then brings forwards effective measures to help girls students to find better jobs after graduation on the foundation of documentary and empirical research.The study on vocational college girls' employment problem is of significance not only in theoretical but also in practical aspect.It is not only important to the forward-looking enlightens to the vocational education itself,but also to the human female resources development and rational allocation and the harmonious development of society.
