Research On Improvement And Evaluation Of University Leader's Ethical Capability

Nowadays,higher education has become the important power to force society improvement and economics development,and universities has been the valuable wealth for a country and a region.Compared with other occupations,the university leaders will behave more ethical capability.Because the university leaders take on a special commission,their behaviors and effects of management have affects on the human health and harmonious development.Furthermore,with the development of science and technology,on one hand,the changes of knowledge structure of university members lead to the needs of inspirit and morality.On the other hand,the university leaders' influence on society and environment has been stronger and stronger,and the university members ask the university leaders to take more moral responsibility.All these characters forced us to draw attention to the construction of university leaders' ethical capability.Through reviewing the theory of university leaders,the definition of university leader's ethical capability is proposed,and the contribution to value is analyzed.Based on this,the evaluation index system of university leader's ethical capability is set up. Considering the merits of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,we proposed a model of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on integrated evaluation method for university leader's ethical capability.The evaluation model is implemented in a university to validate its feasibility.At last,the improving methods and strategies of university leader's ethical capability are studied.The research provides a new idea for the construction of university leader's ethical capability:on one side,we can set up a restrict mechanism for university leader's ethical capability,which can lead and restrict the university leader's behaviors;on the other side,we can take the result of university leader's ethical capability evaluation as an important index to weigh university reputation,and it can build up the university competence through constructing university leader's ethical capability.
