With the development of the information age education and the construction of the "School-to-School" net project,education and research takes on the feature of being informed via informationization.Information technology is increasingly used not only in the analysis of research data,but also in the display of research findings and the practice of research activities,which stimulates in a way the emergence of internet-assisted teaching research.The teaching research started at the end of the 20th century,and some teachers spontaneously made use of online communication tools in order to discuss about teaching and learning.Shortly after that,appeared the regional and national study in the field of internet-assisted teaching research.Similar studies have since increased.But an overview of the past study makes it clear that there is little combination of theory and practice in investigating into the internet-assisted teaching. Similarly,there is also little systematic examination on how to guarantee the effectiveness of internet-assisted teaching research.This fact,therefore,facilitates the present study.By means of the theoretical discussion and practical investigation,and on the basis of aspects of interact-assisted teaching research,such as its features,functions, management mechanism,and theoretical foundations,this study probes into the current situation of such teaching research in primary and secondary education,its insufficiency and tentative strategies to secure its effective implementation.The main body is divided into three parts:The first part is to analyze the contemporary context and theoretical foundations which help with the birth of internet-assisted teaching research.The information age education and the construction of the "School-to-School" net project provide the practical conditions for the development of internet-assisted teaching research,while the learning theory of adult,organizational learning theory and school management theory establish its theoretical basis.Meanwhile,aspects of features, functions,management mechanism of internet-assisted teaching research favor the professional development of teachers.The second part is the investigation questionnaire which is based on aforesaid theories and designed from perspectives of "whether school leadership thinks highly of internet-assisted teaching research," "organization and management of research activities in schools," "the effectiveness of research activities in schools," "the consciousness of participation in activities of internet-assisted teaching research," "the expectation of internet-assisted teaching research." Six middle and four primary schools, distributed respectively in eastern,middle and western regions,are adopted as sample investigations.SPSS is used as the main statistical analysis software in order to penetrate the current situation,concurrent problems,and lastly make a causal analysis.The third part shows that the development of internet-assisted teaching research lies in its validity,and puts forward tentative strategies to improve problematic current situations.That is,strategies of foreground of leading roles in teaching research, conceptual update of teachers' views of internet-assisted teaching research,creation of technological conditions and construction of resources for teaching research,shape of sub-culture of internet-assisted teaching research,and construction and improvement of various systems related.All the five aspects give the inspiration to deal with the current problems in internet-assisted teaching research.
